Rebecca Bartig
Behavior Technician
Rebecca grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and recently relocated to Seattle. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Ceramics, focusing on making the medium more accessible to underrepresented communities. Through community art outreach, she's worked with individuals with disabilities to support dexterity and social engagement through creative expression.
Rebecca later took her teaching journey abroad to South Korea, where she led kindergarten homeroom and drama-based creative studies. These experiences deepened her appreciation for cultural diversity, flexibility, and individualized learning. Her passion for teaching has only grown, and her time as a homeroom teacher reinforced the importance of smaller teacher-to-student ratios and a personal connection with her students.
She is excited to bring this compassion and creativity to her students and is enthusiastic about furthering her education into the field of child psychology at a graduate level. When she’s not working, you can find her running, baking along to The Great British Bake Off, or making ceramics.
