Director of Clinical Services

Loretta earned her Master’s of Education from University of Washington in Special Education, Low-Incidence Disabilities, and Applied Behavior Analysis. She holds a Washington State Teaching Credential for Special Education, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Loretta is a strong proponent for developing skills in a learner’s natural environment and ensuring that parents, caregivers, and others in that natural environment are well-supported. Loretta partners with families to navigate the sometimes complicated and overwhelming issues presented by their unique needs.

As Director of Clinical Services, Loretta designs Perch’s agency-specific clinical best practice and supports all of Perch’s BCBAs. She provides mentorship and supervision to graduate students enrolled in university BCBA programs who are preparing for a career in Behavior Analysis. She is especially interested in furthering understanding of how ABA providers may better their roles as teacher-partners, community members, and advocates for families.

Loretta lives on Vashon Island with her husband, daughter, and Flat-Coated retriever dogs.
