Korina is student at University of Washington in Seattle working towards her Master’s Degree in Social Welfare. Her concentration is youth, children, and families. Currently she is in the Child Welfare Training and Advancement Program through DSHS where she plans to provide service to foster families after graduating. She is also a Parent Partner with Washington Autism Alliance and Advocacy, where she assists ASD/DD families in accessing services.
One day, Korina hopes to create a plan of action for foster care children who go undiagnosed and struggle accessing services as an adult. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her child, snowboarding, and paddle boarding.
