Deidra Logan is from La Cañada, California. She is currently a junior at the University of Washington pursuing a BA in Psychology and triple minoring in Diversity, Gender Women’s Sexuality Studies, and Anthropology. She plans to graduate in Spring of 2019 and then pursue a
Master’s program in Occupational Therapy.
She currently volunteers at The Haring Center where she assists children with developmental disabilities. She has been working with children for many years, including nine summers working with disadvantaged children residing on Pine Ridge Reservation in Red Shirt, South Dakota. She finds working with children of all walks of life to be a true joy.
For her first two years of college Deidra was on the University of Washington Women’s Crew Team. In her free time, she now enjoys exploring lesser forms of physical activity such as hiking, yoga, and walking her dog Sheba.
